I am very concerned that someone as deceitful as Kelsey Iino is on the LACCD board. In her role as El Camino College’s Federation of

Teachers president, she picked a Black male candidate to run against another incumbent Black male trustee for the Inglewood seat, during the summer of George Floyd. And then ran an incredibly racist and disrespectful campaign.


When called out on it, she cried victim, although she was actually the aggressor. Her entrenched e-board has been so focused on covering up their history, that transparency and engagement has been thrown out the window. Much of the union work is now done by PT faculty. They’re are El Camino College faculty who want to hold a vote if no confidence against her leadership!


Just as with her LA Federation of labor buddies, her allyship is mostly performative and only in service of her own activist ambitions. She is making the El Camino campus toxic and divisive with her labor agitation ways.

It is not professional for a sitting member to have no post on Voters’ Edge. You need to do better.

As I prepare to support Dr. Buelna for the College Board I would like to know his position on the Equestrian Program at Pierce College. I have concerns that the Administration has been undermining it for years and in doing so has made it difficult to complete the program in two years and then go on to a four-year degree program in the Animal Science field. Please let me know your position and I will in turn fill you in on my overall concerns.
